Interesting story about this place is that the King Sahasrarjun (King of Mahishmati and
the longest ruling chakravati samrat of Treta Yuga) who had 500 wives had stopped the Narmada River with his 1000 arms and made a play area for his wives who was later killed by Lord Parashurama. During this period of time, a Shivalinga was made by “Ravana”. Interesting story right?
